In 2001 BSMS relocated to the USA due to Dominic's appointment as a full-time Associate Professor of Safety Education and Visiting Professor of Psychology at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.

A valuable and rewarding experience, this time was spent usefully, leading to in-depth research on the safety culture components of behavior-based safety, safety climate and safety management systems.

Enjoying life in the US he has made it his home, and now resides in Franklin, Indiana and runs BSMS Inc on a full-time basis.
